Student filmmaker, Garret Lars, makes his thesis project, a film about David Kerry, a man who lost his memory due to a brutal beating outside a convenience store. David agrees to go on camera to relearn the pieces of his life that he's forgotten, however he learns that his past is complicated, generous, deceitful, and shocking, filled with secrets that are better left unearthed.
