Peaceful Valley is no longer peaceful as gossipmongers begin spreading vicious rumors about an innocent woman. The woman is accused of stealing money; however, one family knows the truth. The family defends her honor, but the townspeople are having none of it. They want the woman to pay for her crime and the judge is more than willing to do his part in seeing her jailed. The woman wants to prove her innocence, but finds it difficult because there are people willing to lie in court against her.
