Watch Ashura

Ashura is a Japanese movie from 2005, based on a play from 1987. It is also known as Ashurajo no Hitomi, which means "Eyes of Hitomi Castle." Bizan is an oni who seeks to bring back the demons so that they can take over the world, back in 19th century Japan. An army of demon slayers, known as the Oni Makado, are fighting her every step along the way. One former Makado, called Izumo, falls in love with a woman who bears the mark of Ashura, the demon queen. More mysterious marks continue to appear on her body. At the same time, one of Izumo's ex-comrades, Jaku, falls in love with Bizan. The battle between the sides becomes complicated, as now the Oni Makado are being pulled over to the demon slayers' side.

The passion between them causes old problems to be reawakened and destinies may become fulfilled. Will good or evil prevail?
