Watch Begin the Beguine

"Begin the Beguine" is a Spanish film from the year of 1982. The film is set in 1981, with famous scribe Antonio returning home to Gijón after receiving the Nobel Prize for Literature. Antonio has been teaching medieval literature at Berkeley, changing up his educational methods with the literary processes that have led to his global acclaim. Having returned home, Antonio rekindles the romance he had with Elena after being exiled by the Spanish Civil War of '37. The only wrinkle in Antonio's life is the deadly disease that has been eating away at the man's physical being for years.
