Born and raised in New Orleans, the Fontaine brothers share a nearly unbreakable bond. Charlie and Bobby are mixed martial arts fighters that fight in underground fighting ring, run by the local mob, aboard a river steamboat. The brothers were living and had the life, that is until some thugs jump Bobby causing Charlie to save his brother. In the process Charlie is badly injured, it is these severe injuries that cause him to get out of the fighting game. A few months later to thank him for all he has done for him, Bobby ends up have sex with Charlie's wife. It is with this action that severs life long ties and brings Charlie back in the ring to teach his brother a lesson once and for all.
