Watch Dak Bangla

This 80s Indian horror film was directed by veteran genre filmmakers, the Ramsay Brothers. The name of the film refers to a Hindi rest house, or dak bangla. The film begins with a couple who are resting under the eaves of a dak bangla, about to kiss they hear a sudden, inhuman sound. From the darkness a unseen force engulfs and kills them. The film flashes forwards to a man named Ajay who is simply looking for a new job. His search takes him to the very spot where the former couple had been murdered. He quickly acquires the position of manager of the dak bangla and asks why no one comes around, he is told that the place is believed to be haunted, a notion that Ajay regards as foolish superstition, but strange occurrences quickly begin to change his perceptions.
