Watch Danny Thomas Special: On the Road to Lebanon

Bing Crosby sings the title song of this Lebanese themed special. In the premise, Bing has a conversation with Hugh Downs who was the host of the Today show. Bing said he was supposed to do the show with Bob Hope, but believes Hope can't cut it. He wants to replace Bob with Danny Thomas. The special is hosted by Hamid the story teller who talks about an Arab chief who's after Danny Thomas, a distant cousin who has returned to Lebanon. Thomas plays both parts. Danny Thomas performs a song he'll sing as he hosts The Miss Lebanon Contest.
