Dial 'P' for Pink is a cartoon short that was released in 1965. The six minute film was a theatrical short that stared the Pink Panther. In the cartoon, a thief tries to break in into a safe, but doesn't know that the Pink Panther lives inside the safe. The Pink Panther outsmarted the thief each time and protects his home by returning the explosives in which the thief was trying to use on the safe. After numerous times, the Pink Panther let the thief have the safe, not knowing there's a surprise for him. Dial 'P' for Pink is one of the Pink Panther's earliest cartoons that was released. The cartoon was the first in the Pink Panther's franchise to have a theme song in the short.
