Eye of the Storm is a 1970 made-for-TV documentary. It follows the story of elementary teacher Jane Elliott, who conducts a controversial class exercise to teach lessons about discrimination. The documentary takes place in a school in Riceville, Iowa. Elliot begins by separating the class into two groups, sorted by eye color. The students are then subjected to discrimination based upon their eye color. The blue-eyed children are given special privileges, while the brown-eyed children are made to wear collars and are forbidden from minor things like drinking from the same water fountain as the blue-eyed children. The students later reflect on the lessons they have learned about racism, bigotry, and discrimination.

Eye of the Storm doesn't appear to be available from any streaming services.
