This story is told through the eyes of the boy Ira. Ira and his family seem to be a normal, all American family. What the neighbors don't know is the dramatic events that happens behind closed doors. Ira gives detailed description of his parents nasty break-up, along with the recovery of what it is like to learn to love someone, when they are the one to cause the chaos.
