A talented young man, who has a gift for magic and chess, is forced to return to his mother’s home town after her death where he and his father find out that not only did his mother own the house but she also had a colorful past.
As Tommy and his father, adjust to life in the new town, they start to learn of Tommy’s late mother’s fame as a chess player and her fall out with the towns people. Tommy finds himself in the same situation as his mother and has the possibility of redeeming his mother’s image.
