Watch Iodine

This is a Canadian 2009 film done with an entirely Canadian cast. John is a police detective entrusted with the investigation of his missing father. Upon arriving at the town where his father was last seen, he finds a friend and co worker of his dad, Avery. Through Avery, John receives an account of how his father's life was. Avery tells John that his dad was working on a science project that used iodine as a water purifier. But John isn't so sure he can trust Avery. In addition he suffers an emotional breakdown from emotional pressure from his own family to find the missing loved one.
