Dasu has become an orphan. His father is a counterfeit racketeer and has been caught and sent to jail. With his father gone, and now living like a vagabond, Dasu quits school where he is in the 10th grade. A group of smugglers enter Dasu's life and threaten him into helping them. Before he can perform what they need of him however, he needs to finish his 10th grade of school. They want to place him inside the police department to extract information for them, so they get Dasu back into school. When Dasu returns to school he meets Nakshatra. She is a teacher at the school and he falls in love with her. The smugglers will use his love of Nakshatra to further their plans for him.

Khatarnak is a 2006 romance movie. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.7.
