This true story is based on the life of Mary, an Argentinian girl who grows up as a fan of the soccer club Boca Juniors and is often seen as a boy by her friends. By the time she reaches maturity Mary has adopted the identity of a boy in a bid to survive the streets of Buenos Aires. Joined by another street kid, Mary must maintain her double identity to survive the horrors of living on the street.
