Les Bonnes Femmes is a French comedy drama released in 1960 which was part of the country's new wave of films which mixed numerous genres together. Directed by Claude Chabrol, the film focuses on four, single French women who live in Paris. During the 100 minute movie they experience romance and other situations in the early 60s as their normal, domestic lives seep in. The film mixed farcical comedy with tragic drama throughout.
