Watch Mussolini: The Churchill Conspiracies

This two hour documentary was released in DVD form a few years ago. It addresses a number of conspiracy theories that circulated following the end of the Second World War. Interviews, documents and archive footage are used to delve into a variety of questions involving British Prime Minister Winston Churchill's contacts with the Italian dictator. It examines whether the British government sought to assassinate the Fascist strongman near the close of the war. The film also probes the extent to which some Western Allies may have hoped to form an alliance with the Italian government against the Soviet Union.
