Watch Northern Skirts

Northern Skirts is a 1999 German film. It illustrates the lives of five friends from various European countries who emigrate to Germany in search of a better life. Their lives mingle and mix together through some poignant hijinks. They go from one sexual relationship to another, while finding their place in their new country. They also visit retail stores, train stations, and cafes, searching for a positive future for each other between meaningless sexual experiences.

As they attempt to forget their past sad, unfortunate memories, they all find strength and comfort by motivating one another to move forward in life.
