50 million DKR in his pocket, 60 year-old businessman, Erik Svensson, plans for a new life in Spain together with his beautiful girlfriend, Helene. On the day of their departure, Svensson's lawyer shows up in the airport with a letter from an ex-girlfriend. In the letter, the ex-girlfriend states that their passionate affair 26 years ago resulted in a daughter. To find out if there is any truth to the story, Svensson hires the younger and somewhat unexperienced undertaker, Anders, as his driver. The odd couple begins a rather unusual journey searching for Svensson's unknown daughter. A journey that eventually ends up changing the lives of everyone involved....
