Watch One of the Hollywood Ten

It is the beginning of what is described as the Golden Age of Hollywood, set during a tumultuous time in the history of the United States. Herbert Biberman is a powerful figure in Hollywood with quite a tremendous following. However, despite things going well for him, he has a close eye on him from certain people in and around Hollywood. He is labeled by many as being a communist and a supporter of all things anti-American. Biberman and his family are consistently harassed and he is eventually put into a blacklist known as "The Hollywood Ten", consisting of famous actors and filmmakers that were accused of being communist sympathizers.
