Gangaram is a simple man from a small village in Punjab, whose sole quality is his magical singing voice. He falls in love with Jamuna and is delighted when he finds that her love for him is mutual. But her parents disapprove of the match and take her away to the big city. Gangaram follows her to the city in a desperate search to reunite with his one true love, and has a series of amazing adventures along the way.
