City slicker Vikram is hired by a wealthy businessman to move to the country and manage his estate. He takes the job, moves away, and falls in love with a local girl, only to be arrested and imprisoned for one year. When he is released, his boss is gone and his love presumed dead. He moves back to the city only to find the two of them together and claiming never to have met him.
