Ragasiyamai is a romantic comedy from India. The tale is of an aspiring sculptor and the daughter of a minister. After their chance meeting at temple, the two fall quickly in love. However, the girl's father opposes the union and isn't shy about sharing his opinion. Thwarted by her father, the couple decides to elope to Gujarat. Once there forces beyond their control conspired to separate the couple, and they are separated. This leaves the sculptor searching desperately for his love.
