Set in North Africa in 1955, despite the request of his lover, Paul refuses to acknowledge his illegitimate son and moves away. The unknowing boy, also in love with his father's lover, grows to manhood unaware that Paul is his father. When he meets the woman again and learns the truth, his emotions involve him in a dangerous race.
