A man who has no memories finds himself wandering through a city without any identification. He walks into a drab police station only to discover that they have no records of him either, and no one has reported him missing. He travels to a hospital to seek answers from the medical establishment but they are unable to provide him with any additional assistance. With the help of the local social services office, he is able to get assistance with obtaining an apartment and employment in a restaurant. He continues this work while searching for answers to his search for identity.
