South Pacific is an drama/comedy/musical that was released in 2001. This rated PG film is suitable for most family members. Starring Glen Close, Harry Connick Jr., Rade Serbedzaija, and other notable actors, this film begins during World War II. Regardless of what is going on around them, a young nurse (played by Glen Close) named Nellie Forbush and an aging French plantation owner (played by Rad Serbedzaija) named Emile de Becque manage to find love in one another. Because of the world being torn apart around them, they soon find that keeping their love alive will prove to be quite trying.

This movie was nominated for two Emmys including Outstanding Music Direction and Outstanding Single Camera Sound Mixing for a Movie.
