When Clive Nicoli and Elsa Kast defy their employer's orders and create a new, strange human-hybrid named Dren, a terrifying tale of human error and bad parenting come together. Already caught off guard by Dren's accelerated growth, the two brilliant scientists clearly are not fit to raise this new creature. Elsa's own past turns her into a tyrant of a mother, while Clive tries to come to grips with the now sexually aware Dren. Clive's strange battle with sexual attraction makes this film not appropriate for all audiences, but still reveals that there are monsters in even the most innocent of people. Elsa's past creates a terrifying mother that nothing, human or otherwise, should ever have to be exposed to.
