The Chicken, an award-winning short French comedy film, tells the story of a man who acquires a chicken with the intention of fattening it up and turning it into dinner. When his friend befriends the bird, however, he has other ideas in mind and wants to keep it as a pet. The film focuses on the combination of serious and funny dialogues between the family members who have completely different ideas about what should be done with a feathered yard bird!
