Brody is a 'special' pre-teen with an edge due to his size. Brody's mom's committee organizes a scavenger hunt to save the old town of Brewer. Brody steals the clues, teaming up with his friends to solve them and win the prizes. Sneaking over to the old town a day early, they are transported back in time to when the town was occupied. The ghosts of Brewer Town guide them to valuable life lessons.
