The Haunted Drum is a Thai horror drama film. It was released in 2008. The film is about a man named Ping who has aspirations of becoming a musician one day. Ping becomes a student under the direction of Master Duang. Duang is a well known master musician. Duang owned a drum that was called poeng mang. Many people believe that the drum is comprised of a beautiful woman's skin named Thip. Ultimately, Ping falls deeply for a girl who teaches him how musically inclined he is on the drums. However, the girl he falls in love with will be much more than he ever imagined.
