"The Hero" is a Portuguese film from the year of 2004. The film covers the lives of four different natives during the aftershock of the Angolan Civil War in 2002; Vitoria is a veteran of the Civil War who has been unable to find employment being crippled by the detonation of a landmine, Manu is a child who quests for a reunification with his military father, Joana is Manu's educator and mentor, and Judite is a working girl who has recently started an intimate partnership with Vitorio.
