In this Italian-French comedy set in Rome, Ulysses joins the Fascist Party when he cannot find gainful employment. The first job he's assigned by Party officials takes him to the Fossati Print Shop to serve as an apprentice. But when he begins to fall in love with the enchanting Franca, who comes from a family of anarchists, Ulysses must choose between the life of a fascist or an anarchist and ultimately makes a surprising decision.
