The Lighthouse is a movie about a family that takes a vacation to a secluded island by boat. During the course of the trip, the family encounters a rough patch of weather and ends up wrecking the ship. The family has to swim to shore, and they see a light house in the distance. The Lighthouse is a movie that shows how a family survives on a secluded island, with only the food from The Lighthouse to survive on. Eventually they are able to get in touch with a distant ship from the lights on The Lighthouse and are saved.
