This documentary studies the life of Erich Von Stroheim, who was heavily involved in all parts of the film industry. He celebrated a 40 year career before retiring. During the course of his life he played a part in World War II propaganda which caused a lot of controversy at the time. The best part of the film was how Von Stroheim was able to overcome poverty and enter the world's toughest industry with marketed success.
