Watch The Rehearsal

This is a highly stylized film with political overtones. Shot at a warehouse in New York, the movie is staged in the form of a rehearsal for a stage play. The subject is the student uprising that occurred at the Athens Polytechnic School against the Greek military junta in 1973. The protest ended with the slaughter of the protestors. The event became a symbol of courage in the face of oppression.
