Sylvain is a writer and has done quite well for himself. He met Genevieve 10 months ago and the pair fell in love. They move to the countryside to live out their lives and so that Sylvain has more solitude to write. He is so caught up in his work that he does not pay much attention to her. He is quite satisfied with the quiet life. Genevieve is not happy with her life in the country. She is growing bored with the lifestyle and being left to fend for herself while her love writes. She begins to wonder if she made the right decision in moving with him.
