This is a 2010 Italian romantic comedy. The setting is a small town in Southern Italy during the year 1905. Projected on a white screen is a short movie which entertains audiences. Federico is mesmerized by this new technology and switches from his medical job to writing screenplays for future movies. Not long after, he lands a job as the director of a short film. But the producer of the film wants titillating storylines, while the producer's sister, who's also bankrolling the film, wants something more wholesome. Meanwhile, Federico is romantically attracted to two of the film's stars. There are so many decisions Federico must make.
