Watch The War Is Over

The War Is Over is a political drama that was released in 1966. The film follows a man by the name of Diego who is a leading figure in the Spanish communist party. However, when the civil war breaks out Diego decides to leave the country. He is then stopped while trying to cross back into France, but is able to fool the guards thanks to his female companion. He then has to track down an associate in Paris in order to prevent him from going back to Spain where he will surely be arrested by the fascists. The War Is Over was directed by Alain Resnais.
