The trains are learning important lessons on the Island Of Sodor. In "Diesel's Special Delivery" Diesel just wants someone to cheer for one of his deliveries but he has a little trouble figuring out what is really important. Poor Percy just wants to be like a big engine and tries his best to act just like Gordon. But in "Being Percy" he soon learns that being like a big engine isn't always a good thing.

In "Henry's Health and Safety" Henry has a collision with a truck and learns about health and safety emergencies from Victor. Unfortunately, Henry still has some learning to do and takes his new found knowledge a little too far.

Hiro is feeling homesick for Japan in "Happy Hiro" and Thomas just wants to cheer up his friend. Unfortunately, he only succeeds in making Hiro even more sad. Hiro tries to tell Thomas what makes him happy, but Thomas has to learn how to listen to his friend.
