This unique documentary focuses on the end of apartheid in South Africa. British director and producer Nick Broomfield arrives in Johannesburg, South Africa, to film the Tracy Chapman concert, the first American concert held in the city in many years. During the filming, He follows in the footsteps of music icon and self-made millionaire Chico Twala. Twala is also a friend of Winnie Mandela, Nelson Mandela's former wife. This 1992 documentary illustrates many of the avant garde film techniques that Broomfield is famous for and also reflects the political environment of this notorious African country.
