Watch Vedha

"Vedha" is a Tamil-language film that tells the tale of two brothers and how one of them makes certain sacrifices for the other. Vijay loves his younger brother Vadhan, but Vadhan has a profound and socially crippling aversion to failure. As a response, Vadhan impersonates a police officer and gets involved in fights as a means to discourage other candidates competing against his older brother in a school election. Although, the ploy works, Vadhan's deeds attract the attention of local gangsters and trouble ensues.

The plot of the film concludes with fairy-tale wedding whose splendor must take a back seat to one final and shocking truth that gets revealed on the wedding night.
