Ad Vitam is a French-language science-fiction crime procedural streaming television series from Arte. The show premiered on November 8, 2018, and stars Garance Marillier (Justine) in the lead role with Anne Azoulay (Darius), Rod Paradot (Christophe), Niels Schneider (Ilia), and Yvan Attal (Michel) in other major roles.

The series is set in a dystopian world where human beings have discovered a way to become immortal. The invention has caused widespread social upheaval and moral decay in society, with rampant suicides and a loss of the will to live as people come to realize the burden of endless life. In this setting, the story follows police officers Darius and Christophe, who are investigating a string of unusual and bloody suicide bombings that seem to be connected somehow.

As the trio lives, dies and are reborn again, they come across other individuals who seek to end their never-ending journey of life. Along the way, they must navigate their own feelings of guilt, loss and grief as they grapple with their own mortality.

Throughout the series, we see the characters grapple with their own beliefs and morality in a world where death no longer exists. They struggle with questions of life and identity, and the consequences of unending existence. The show explores the darker side of immortality and the fear that comes with never being able to escape life's burdens. It reflects on mental health and the toll isolation and loneliness can take on an individual who is bound to live forever.
