Amatsuki is a Japanese anime television series that was aired on TV Tokyo in 2008. The show is set in a fictionalized version of Japan during the Edo period, where humans and spirits coexist in the same world. The main character of the show is Tokidoki Rikug?, voiced by Kenji Nojima. Tokidoki is a high school student who has a deep interest in history and folklore. He is transported to the world of Amatsuki while visiting a museum, where he finds himself in the middle of a conflict between humans and spirits.
In Amatsuki, he meets a spirit named Kuchiha, voiced by Ken'ichi Suzumura, who becomes his guide in this new world. Kuchiha is a fox spirit who is also known as the "God of Harvest," and he helps Tokidoki navigate through this new world.
Throughout the series, Tokidoki experiences various adventures and meets several other characters. Among them are a teenage girl named Kon Shinonome, voiced by Romi Paku, who is also transported to the world of Amatsuki, and a young samurai named Tokugawa Yoshimitsu, voiced by Jun Fukuyama, who is initially hostile towards Tokidoki.
Other notable characters in the show include the shogun's advisor, Tsuruume, voiced by Jouji Nakata, and the samurai Kuchiha's sister, Princess Yuki, voiced by Yuki Matsuoka. Showtaro Morikubo voices the samurai
