Back In The Game is a comedy television series that aired on ABC from 2013 to 2014. The show follows the story of a single mother, Terry Gannon Jr., played by Maggie Lawson, who moves back to her hometown to live with her father, Terry Sr. (James Caan), after going through a divorce.

Terry Jr. was once a promising softball player, but her career was cut short due to an injury. She now struggles to find a job and provide for her son, Danny (Griffin Gluck). However, her life takes a turn for the better when she decides to coach her son's little league team, the Angles, with the help of her father.

The Angles are a group of misfits who have never won a game, and Terry Jr. and her father must work together to turn the team's fortunes around. Along the way, they encounter various challenges, including the team's prima donna player, Dick Slingbaugh (Ben Koldyke), and his overbearing father, Lenny (Cooper Roth).

The show also features Michelle Betts as Gigi, Terry Jr.'s best friend, Hector Santiago as Mike, a former MLB player who works with Terry Sr., Lenora Crichlow as Lulu, Terry Jr.'s neighbor, J.J. Totah as Michael, the team's smallest and most timid player, Kennedy Waite as Vanessa, a cheerleader and Danny's crush, Brandon Salgado Telis as Dudley, a catcher with a larger-than-life personality, and Theodore Barnes as Green, the team's resident troublemaker.

Throughout the series, Terry Jr. and her father face various obstacles both on and off the field, but their love for each other and their team helps them overcome these challenges. The show touches on themes of family, friendship, and perseverance, as Terry Jr. helps the Angles not only become a better team but also develop stronger bonds with each other.
