Watch Bali

From PBS KIDS - Bali is having Tito and Sacha sleep over so they can watch the brand new Robo Bear DVD. Unfortunately, just as they're about to watch it, a power failure hits the neighbourhood. While Bali's friends look out the window in awe, a very frustrated Bali remains on the sofa sulking. In his dream, Bali is in the desert with Kikou and his hero Robo Bear and his side kick, Turbo Hippo. An asteroid is heading straight for them. Adding to their problems is the fact the Robo Bear can't fly without his cape, to which he's lost the fastening button for. Suddenly though he has an idea, and uses his cape like a magic carpet to fly up and push away the asteroid. Back in 'reality', Bali is inspired to 'think outside the box'. Getting his friends together, they use flashlights and action figures to make their own Robo Bear 'movie'./// It's Christmas and as everyone opens their presents, Bali sees there's one left. But he's quickly confused, for it has both his and Lea's name on it. Bali doesn't understand, presents are always for one person. As well, he doesn't want to share it with anyone. Frustrated, Bali goes into his dream. Kikou and he find themselves by Santa's sleigh. They help him load up his sleigh by matching the gifts with his long list. When finished, they notice one present remains. Before the elves fight over it, Santa says it's for everyone. Indeed, it's full of cookies that they all share. Back in 'reality', Bali decides it's ok to share. In fact, the present is actually two puppets. Together, Bali and Lea put on a little puppet show to the delight of all.

From PBS KIDS - Staying at his grandparent's sea side home, Bali is getting ready to go fishing with his grandfather when they spot the neighbours with their kids playing on the beach. Bali would like to play with them, but he's too shy. With his grandfathers help, he goes down to say hi. But the group becomes distracted and ignore Bali. Standing alone, Bali goes into his dream. He finds himself in the midst of a grand orchestra. The Conductor is upset, for they're missing a person who can play the triangle. Eventually, Bali overcomes his shyness and plays it wonderfully. Back in 'reality', Bali regains his confidence and befriends the kids./// Bali goes to the park on his bike with his mom. Once there, he runs into Tamara and Tito. Tito though makes fun of the fact that Bali still has training wheels on his bike and heads off racing with Tamara. Bali asks his mom to take them off. After doing so, Bali has great trouble riding his bike and is about to give up when he goes into his dream. He finds himself driving a motorboat for a water skier. She's training to make a big jump. With great determination she successfully makes the jump. Back in 'reality', an equally determined Bali finally succeeds in riding alone and even winning a race against Tito.

From PBS KIDS - The entire apartment building is preparing for their annual rooftop party. All have something to do except Bali and Tito. Trying to think how they can contribute, Bali goes into his dream. There, Bali and Kikou find themselves in a lavish but over grown garden. The Gardener asks for their help. Bali makes drawings that the gardener uses as inspiration to decorate the garden. Back in 'reality', hearing Ms. Olga playing her saxophone, Bali now knows what they can do. On the rooftop, the party is in full swing, especially with Bali and Tito playing drums for Ms. Olga.///Bali and family go camping with Tito. Once at the campsite though, the two friends find that Bali's parents won't let them do what they want to. As Bali becomes increasingly frustrated he goes into his dream. He's in the north Pole with Kikou when they meet up with an Inuit named Nook and his pet seal. As they fish, the seal takes all the fish. Not listening to Nook's warning not to eat the fish, the seal eats them all and becomes sick. Back in 'reality', Bali now understands why it's important to listen to one's parents.

From PBS KIDS - Bali sees a television ad for a brand new Robo Bear toy. He runs up to his parents and excitedly asks if they can get it for him. The parents aren't sure and besides, they're all heading to Mamili's for a visit. Bali becomes obsessed with the toy and can't get it out of his mind. Once at his grand mother's, she gets him to help clean up the attic. There he discovers all kinds of old items and toys. In his dream, Bali and Kikou see a whole bunch of balloons floating about. They meet a balloon artist who shows them that even out of seemingly ordinary balloons, one can make wondrous objects. She makes all kinds of animals etc... to the delight of Bali and Kikou. Back in 'reality', when dad comes up to see Bali, they use their imaginations to play great pretend games with the items in the attic. No need for the brand new Robo Bear toy.//Driving up to his Grandparents, Bali sees a fast food restaurant and asks his parents if they can stop to eat. His parents say no, for there will be plenty of food at his grandparents. Once there, Bali simply sulks on a bench as his grandparents tend the garden. In his dream, Bali finds himself in a wondrous lab with wild inventions all created by Professor ZinZin. With Bali and Kikou's help, ZinZin teaches Bali how to make the healthiest and most delicious cookie ever. Back in 'reality', Bali understands that healthy food can be fun to make and delicious as well. With Bali's great suggestions, a super delicious and nutritious dinner is prepared.

From PBS KIDS - Bali and family go to the train station to pick up his grandparents. But when the train is diverted to a different track, Bali and dad miss them. Bali begins to worry as to how they're going to find them now. In his dream, Bali is on a train with Kikou. When Bali goes to get their tickets, upon his return, Kikou is missing. The train's conductor then calls Kikou on the PA system. He promptly returns. Back in 'reality', Bali has an idea. They make an announcement on the stations PA system and all are reunited.///When Bali, Tamara and Tito discover a go-kart track, excitement turns to disappointment when they're told that they're too short. Back home, the kids tell Bali's dad how disappointed and frustrated they are. In his dream, Bali is at a roller blading park and meets a great skater. Bali bends the truth as to just how good a skater he is. But eventually learns through the skater that while he waits to get bigger, there are other ways to have fun without literally roller blading. Back in 'reality', seeing some old boxes on the floor gives Bali an idea. Together with his friends and parents, they make racecars out of them and race about the house, to the delight of all.

From PBS KIDS - Tito comes over and invites Bali and family to his step mom's birthday party. While they play, Tito explains to Bali that his parents are divorced and what it all means. The next day, as Bali and his family drive to the party, Bali begins to get anxious as his parents get into an argument. With Tito's chat still fresh in his mind, Bali thinks they might be getting a divorce. In his dream, Bali helps a postman deliver a package to Kikou's family. There, he finds Kikou's parents arguing as well. The postman tells a distraught Kikou that parents, just like kids, argue as well. But that it doesn't mean that they're going to divorce. Soon after, the parents make up and all is well. In 'reality', Bali tells his parents he doesn't like it when they fight. His parents reassure Bali that they still very much love one another. After a big family hug, they all head off to the party and have a great time.///Playing in the park on a winter's day, Bali slips and hurts his leg. His mom takes him to the hospital where the doctor examines Bali. Prognosis, he has a broken leg that will need to be in a cast for six weeks. Returning home, Bali is sad, for he can see his friends playing outside and he wishes he could join them. In his dream, Bali meets a man in a full body cast. But when an alarm clock goes off, so does the cast and the gentleman leaps onto the ice and skates wonderfully. Back in 'reality', Bali understands that he needs to be patient. So when his friends come over, Bali creates a new kind of game that he can play with them to help pass the time.

From PBS KIDS - It's Halloween and Bali is super excited. Tamara and Tito come over to work on their costumes together. But things begin to go badly as the three friends take items from one another and don't want to share. In his dream, Bali meets three witches busily arguing amongst themselves as they hurriedly work over three caldrons trying to make a special potion. With Bali's help, they eventually mix their individual ingredients together and presto, success. Back in 'reality', Bali suggests to his friends that they all put their separate costume pieces together and then pick items one at a time. This does the trick and they create wonderfully original costumes.///Bali is super disappointed, for he was looking forward to playing soccer with his dad, but both dad and Lea have come down with a bad cold. Bali helps mom take care of her 'patients' at first, but soon becomes bored and unintentionally wakes dad and Lea up. Mom asks Bali to go play on his own. In his dream, Bali is in the jungle and meets a jungle Queen. She shows Bali a rather unique flower that is feeling very ill and needs water. As Bali helps, Kikou, who is chasing a butterfly, keeps knocking the water out of Bali's pail. The jungle Queen tells Kikou he needs to help and to focus on something less 'disruptive'. As Bali finally pours the water, the flower recovers. Back in 'reality', Bali helps mom and remains quiet as dad and Lea rest.

From PBS KIDS - Bali's room is a major mess. When his mom asks him to clean up, he's less then enthusiastic and tries to get out of doing it. But his mom won't have any of it and says he can't play with his friends until he's cleaned up his room properly. In his dream, Bali meets a magician whose room is equally messy. The magician is desperately trying to find his hat and dove for his magic trick. Together they put everything away and find them both. Back in 'reality', Bali now understands the importance and reason for cleaning up ones room.///When Tito comes over to Bali's for a sleep over, both boys have a great time. Making things even more exciting, is the new baby sitter Zaza. The only problem is that they're having such a great time that when it's time to go to bed, neither Bali nor Tito want to. Even as they hide their tired yawns from Zaza, they tell her they're not tired. In his dream, Bali meets a wild, super energetic robot. But as they play together, the robot begins to lose energy. With Bali's help, the robot 'recharges' and is as good as new. In 'reality', Bali now understands that if they don't get to sleep, they'll run out of energy. Sleeping is like recharging one's batteries.

From PBS KIDS - A new student is presented to Bali's class. Her name is Saba and she comes from Africa. Ms. Chang asks Bali to help show Saba around the class. Bali's nervous, for he doesn't know what to say to her. In his dream, Bali and Kikou are astronauts landing on Mars. There they meet a Martian. Though they don't speak the same language and do certain things differently, they have a great time together. Back in 'reality', Bali and Saba realise they have a lot in common as they have fun learning one another's language.///At school, Bali and his classmates each make a building from wood blocks. As the class goes outside for recess Bali accidentally knocks them all down. Worried everyone will be upset with him, he doesn't tell anyone it was him. In his dream, Bali and Kikou are each flying a sky writing airplane. Unfortunately, Kikou has trouble controlling his plane and ruins the sky drawings. But he admits it and Bali understands that it's the right thing to do. Back in 'reality', Bali tells the class what happened. Ms. Chang thanks him for being honest. Together, the class makes one massive very cool skyscraper, looking better then ever.

From PBS KIDS - Bali and Tamara team up for a class project where Ms. Chang gives each pair a disposable camera with the goal to take pictures of wildlife in their very own neighbourhood. Later in the day, Bali and Tamara are having trouble finding wildlife in the city. In Bali's dream, he plays a game of hide and seek with a creature that is able to morph into any shape. Bali learns that he has to search and observe with great care. In 'reality', Bali tells Tamara they need to search closer. Suddenly they start seeing things they hadn't before and a whole other world is revealed to them.//At school, Misa's dad, a fireman, impresses the whole class, especially Bali. When his own dad picks him up, Bali tells him he wants to be a fireman when he grows up. Dad takes him to his workshop and shows Bali what it's like being a carpenter. Now Bali isn't sure what he wants to be. Worried he'll change his mind, he enters his dream. There, he meets a fireman who says he didn't always want to be a fireman. Originally, he wanted to be an artist. But things change and that's ok. Back in 'reality', Bali finishes making a toy box with his dad. Bali proudly says he may well become a painter, but he's in no rush to decide.
