Best Foot Forward is a live-action family comedy series that premiered on Apple TV+ in 2022. The show follows 12-year-old Josh Dubin, played by Logan Marmino, as he enters the cutthroat world of private school and attempts to navigate life with a prosthetic leg. After using his street smarts to win a scholarship to the prestigious Camelot Academy, Josh faces a new set of challenges attending classes with wealthy classmates. Though intelligent and resourceful, Josh feels out of place as a disability and financial aid student in the elite institution. However, with the support of his public school friends, overprotective mom, optimistic dad, and rebellious brother Luca, Josh sets out to prove that he can thrive in this unfamiliar environment.
Determined to make the most of his new school, Josh tries out for the lacrosse team to impress his prep school peers. But when he fails to make the cut, Josh becomes the equipment manager instead and uses his position to learn the game and invent creative ways to help the team. His resilience and spirit inspire his teammates to embrace his differences.
Josh also forms an unlikely friendship with the school
