Throughout the series, Weisbarth and Giffin consult with the homeowners and offer advice and solutions based on their experience building and living in tiny homes themselves. Viewers also get to witness the emotional journey that each family or couple goes through as they transition to a smaller space and learn to let go of their attachment to material possessions.
