But according to Ellis's sources in the forest, the gate to the waterway has been shut, and the only way to open it is to infiltrate the Temple of Saldora. Ellis attempts to sneak in herself, but all doesn't go according to plan...

Cobra and Seven/Eight infiltrate the underground prison beneath the slave trader Zaru's mansion, but Cobra ends up being mistaken for a slave and brought into an energy visualization arena to fight other slaves for sport. Cobra finds the man he's looking for, King, but has to fight him in a death-match where the victorious slave will be granted freedom. Can Cobra convince King he's not his enemy and manage to escape with him during the commotion his partners cause?

Cobra is one of 13 people invited to participate in a plot to retake Shiva Castle from the hands of the Chaos Army, who overtook it two decades ago. But the plot has been revealed, and Chaos Troops have already infiltrated the group and are closing in on their location. Cobra and a few others manage to escape alive, but they have to locate the 13th member in the port town of Gizla, as he is the only one with the knowledge of how to sneak into the castle. The Chaos Army is a mechanized hive mind. Kill the King and the rest will follow. That is, if the group doesn't kill each other first...
9. Episode 9 - The Black Bullet

Cobra decides to participate in the Meteor Race, the world's most extreme test of stamina and speed, in order to earn a bit of pocket money, and it's there he meets the beautiful reigning champion, Pamela Lee. Later that evening, she begs him to stop the "Black Bullet" and runs away. Cobra soon hears about a mysterious super-fast vehicle called the "Black Bullet" that has been going around the city destroying cars and killing innocent people at such speed that even the police can't keep up.

Cobra is asked by a beautiful woman named Elizabeth Tucker to find the seeds of a Mandard, a plant that has the face of a human being. Cobra isn't really that interested, but Elizabeth has taken Secret hostage. Cobra, along with "The Eyes," "The Ears," and "The Nose," three people with special abilities Elizabeth gathered, must make their way into the center of a mature Mandrad trunk to find the seeds and trade them for Secret's safety.

Cobra's going for a leisurely drive on Venus during Christmas Eve,
when a truck being chased by the Pirate Guild suddenly barrels toward him. A girl on the truck named Secret is the spitting image of
Cobra's old flame, Dominique. She gives Cobra the "Key of Shiva" and asks him to take it to a professor Toporo on planet Galon, and
although Cobra uses the psychogun to shoot down one of the Pirate
Guild's flying mecha, he's crushed under the wreckage and taken to a
hospital with serious injuries. A female warrior from the Pirate Guild, Blackborn, is trying to get the Key of Shiva, and comes to attack Cobra and Secret who've both been taken to a hospital. Once Cobra finds out that it's his arch-enemy the Pirate Guild that's attacking Secret he decides to fight to protect her, but...
