Watch Fin

Fin is a new animated series that debuted on Amazon Addon in 2021. The show centers around Fin, an intelligent robot with shark DNA who was created by Dr. Amelia to be a companion for her niece Marley. After an accident causes Fin to be separated from Dr. Amelia and wash up on shore, he is discovered by the Green family and welcomed into their home. The show follows Fin's adventures and misadventures as he tries to adjust to life with a human family while also trying to figure out his mysterious origins.

Although Fin looks like a terrifying shark-robot hybrid on the outside, he has the heart and mind of a child. He loves playing games, listening to music, dancing, and spending time with his new human sister Marley and her friends. However, trouble seems to follow Fin wherever he goes, whether it's accidentally destroying the Green family home with his powerful robotic abilities or attracting the unwanted attention of a sinister organization called D.O.R.C. that wants to capture Fin for their own evil plans.

Luckily, Fin has the Green family in his corner. Parents Mitch and Lisa do their best to set boundaries and teach Fin right from wrong, even if they don't always understand the unique challenges of raising a robotic shark child. Marley loves and accepts Fin just as he is, flaws and all. She is protective of her new robot brother and stands by him when the world seems against him. Even younger brother Drew comes to see past Fin's frightening exterior and appreciate his kind heart.

At its core, Fin is a story about finding family in unexpected places. Fin wasn't born into the Green family; he was created in a lab. Similarly, many of the human characters come from non-traditional backgrounds and have to create their own sense of family and community. The show celebrates this idea by bringing together an unconventional group of people (and robots) who care for and accept each other.

With its blend of humor, action, and heart, Fin proves that family comes in all shapes and sizes. The show balances laugh-out-loud comedy with poignant moments, all brought to life through colorful animation and a talented voice cast.
