Jean-Claude Van Johnson is a clever and action-packed series from Amazon Studios starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as a retired action movie star turned covert operative. Created by Dave Callaham and directed by Peter Atencio, the show is a hilarious satire of the action movie genre and a loving tribute to one of its biggest stars.

The series follows Jean-Claude Van Damme, who plays a version of himself that is not only a former martial arts superstar, but also a highly trained and lethal spy known as Johnson. After retiring in order to focus on his romantic life, Van Damme is called back into action by a former lover and partner in crime, played by Kat Foster. Soon, Van Damme is back in the game, kicking butt and taking names as he attempts to save the world while also navigating his complicated love life.

One of the most exciting things about Jean-Claude Van Johnson is that it is shot in stunning 4K Ultra High Definition. This means that viewers are treated to incredibly sharp and detailed images of Van Damme's acrobatics and fight scenes, as well as the luxurious locales where much of the action takes place.
