Lisey's Story is an Apple TV+ original limited series based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King. The show explores the twists and turns of grief, love, and loss through the lens of Lisey Landon (played by Julianne Moore), the widow of a famous author named Scott Landon (played by Clive Owen).

After Scott's death, Lisey is left to sift through his life's work and belongings, including a hidden cache of manuscripts he left for her alone. These manuscripts become the key to unlocking Scott's darkest secrets, and Lisey must confront the supernatural forces at play to keep them safe.

As she delves into Scott's past, Lisey also grapples with her own memories and emotions. She remembers their shared history, the good times and the bad, and how Scott's writing often came from a deeply personal place. Her grief is palpable, and the show doesn't shy away from showing how it eats away at Lisey over time.

But Lisey's journey isn't just an emotional one. There are clear elements of horror and suspense woven throughout the story, and Jennifer Jason Leigh gives a standout performance as Amanda, Scott's disturbed fan who becomes increasingly dangerous as she tries to uncover his secrets.
